A simple smoothie recipe for anyone looking for lots of Vitamin C and other nutritious vitamins from spinach’s dark leafy greens!
We love the supermarket Aldi for so many reasons, one of those being the affordable frozen fruit that they sell! Frozen fruit is best for making smoothies (I think most of us know this!)
Aldi sells a tropical frozen fruit mixture that contains: pineapples, strawberries, mango and papaya!
Papaya has lots of vitamins C and A. I love getting these frozen fruit bags because fresh fruit like mango and papaya are sometimes hard to find and then when you do find them, they can be time consuming to prepare.
Smoothies can sometimes be high in sugar, so anytime I make one I try to add some kind of leafy green like spinach or kale so I can make sure to get some good greens in there, too!
If you like a tropical blend, you’ll be sure to love this simple smoothie recipe!

Side note: I always love to put my smoothies into a wide mouth ball mason jars with the wide mouth lids. Below is a link to both the lid set + jars if you are interested in using them, too!
