Black Bean Brownies
These brownies are a healthy twist on the traditional brownie recipe! With this recipe, you'll never have those crusty, hard edges that regular brownies usually have. They are SO easy to make because you mix all the ingredients together in one dish. They have a fudgy-chocolate flavor that everyone in the house will be sure to love.
Ingredients
- 2 15oz cans of black beans (rinsed and drained well)
- 6 eggs
- 5 tbsp coconut oil
- 7 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 heavy pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- mini chocolate chips (whatever amount you prefer!)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix all ingredients together in a blender (besides the chocolate chips)
- Gently fold the chocolate chips into the brownie batter
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 pan
- Sprinkle more chocolate chips over top, along with sprinkles if wanted
- Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes
- Let cool about 5-10 minutes before cutting
Notes
You can melt the coconut oil before blending if you’d like.
You can replace coconut oil with other oils but coconut gives it the best flavor.
